The Beginning of the End

So, for those of you who don't know me, my name is Jaime. I've decided to start blogging after following several blogs religiously...thesmallthingsblog.com and frommygreydeskblog.com.

The name of my blog comes from the countless stories I have/will encounter with my cat Toby (pictured below).

Yes, yes he does have crossed eyes. Although Toby is cute, he has had his share of terrible tales. Hence the pun of the name of the blog.

To start this blog off right, let's delve into Toby's most special tale. The day Toby swallowed a nerf dart head.

 

 

Do you see that little blue rubber head? Yes. Well that would be the part that Toby ate. After three vet visits, too many throw up sessions to count, and a $1500 exploratory surgery later...Toby is alive and well.

 

 

Now, before you go off thinking I'm some kind of crazy cat lady, this blog is not just about my cats (yes, that is plural...and before you ask, I have two). Meet Tillie.

 

Like I was saying earlier, this blog will be about more than just my cats. I hope to share valuable shopping knowledge, great deals I've come across, and great personal stories for your amusement.

 

Oh, and I almost forgot...the title "the beginning of the end" is in honor of the alleged end of the world tomorrow.
