The Zookeepers' Main Squeeze

1. Best quote of the entire weekend came from Chris...naturally. "What's our cover story? If we are going to look at houses we need a cover story. (Thoughtful look on his face.) I've got it! I am a zookeeper and you are the zookeepers' main squeeze." Oh yeah, we went to a couple open houses. My favorite is the one pictured above.

2. Hello beautiful! My life will now be all organized, or as Chris would say "you better be $75 worth of organized now." Erin Condren planners are worth it!

3. Literally the BEST movie I've been to in a long time, The Butler. My friend, Whitney, made me go see it Sunday afternoon and I'm so glad she did; however, she told me that I "don't have a soul" because I didn't bawl during the entire movie like she did. **Disclaimer...I do have a soul.**

4. Chris and I finally picked out our bedding. It was a long process on Saturday night, but we finally agreed on the bedding listed above for our master bedroom. Seriously, the HARDEST part about getting married is trying to decorate in a gender neutral manner.

I'm Going to Need a Bigger Closet

1. Check out this rockin' outfit I put together at work this week. We just got this sweater in and I'm LOVING it. Fall, please come soon.

2. Some of my "little minions" from work, out for a birthday bash. (Little minions name given by Chris.)

3. Although I haven't given in and purchased the sweater, I did buy the grey shirt and green military jacket. Pretty sure I'm going to need a bigger closet.

4. Let's get real...if you order an Erin Condren planner, you've got to go to the store and purchase some sharpie pens to go with your brand spankin' new planner. Am I right or am I right?!

Worked My Little Hiney Off

I don't know about you, but I worked my little hiney off this weekend. Friday and Saturday I worked for about 9-10 hours each day for our Tent Sale. It was crazy ridiculous and I was pretty much the most hated person in the entire store. Why? Because I was in charge of the dressing rooms and had to implement a 5 minute time limit on each dressing room. Needless to say, people were not happy.

Saturday after a 10 hour shift, Chris and I sanded and scraped the varnish off two dressers (with help from my mom) and painted both. Check out how awesome one of them turned out. Chris and I will be using these in our new place! Pictures to come next month when we move in. :)

To treat myself for a weekend of hard work, I may or may not have ordered myself a new Erin Condren planner/notebook. (hint: I did) It's the coral one on the right!
