I'm Going to Need a Bigger Closet

1. Check out this rockin' outfit I put together at work this week. We just got this sweater in and I'm LOVING it. Fall, please come soon.

2. Some of my "little minions" from work, out for a birthday bash. (Little minions name given by Chris.)

3. Although I haven't given in and purchased the sweater, I did buy the grey shirt and green military jacket. Pretty sure I'm going to need a bigger closet.

4. Let's get real...if you order an Erin Condren planner, you've got to go to the store and purchase some sharpie pens to go with your brand spankin' new planner. Am I right or am I right?!

5. Pre-going out pic. If you missed it, be sure to check out Chris and my "going out" procedure here.

Big Flower Boom Boom

Romper: E.Leigh's
Necklace: Francesca's
Shoes: Express

*Title courtesy of Chris*

Honestly, if you're looking for a great summer staple piece for your closet, this romper is it! Floral is huge right now and coupled with the long sleeve combo of this romper, you really can't go wrong.

Also, you can't tell from the picture but the material is polyester and spandex which makes it extremely breathable and great for all sizes.

Personally, I LOVE having to choose one item to wear in the morning. It takes the early morning decision making out of my routine. Typically I'm struggling to match a top to a bottom or, in many cases, I have one clean top and no clean bottoms to match. The only catch (per Chris) is "you look nice but you're going to have a hard time peeing in that thing today." Really Chris? At least he put the "you look nice" in front of it. Yes, disclaimer, rompers are hard to pee in. Other than that I think this floral romper has completely changed my overall opinion on rompers. Rompers= Victory.

What are your opinions on rompers??

Punk and Preppy

So, if you hadn't noticed yet, I finally got my hair done. Going dark for fall...and also because it means I get to save money by not highlighting my hair every 6 weeks.

Top: E.Leigh's
Pants: E.Leigh's
Shoes: Target
Bracelet: Excessory Exchange

Sometimes all you need is a simple graphic tee and nice quality, high waisted black shorts. I've paired these with leopard flats and gold jewelry, but you could easily add a brightly colored statement necklace for a pop of color. You can't tell, but this is the softest tee I've ever worn. Best thing is, since it's all from my new workplace, I can wear it to work whenever I want.

Would you style it like this, or pair it with a pop of color?

I tried to locate these pieces online, but I'm assuming they are so new that Francesca's doesn't have them posted yet. Say hello to my job winning outfit. Yep, that's right. I wore this outfit for my third and final interview for my new job, and guess what, it's now my new lucky outfit.

Fixed X2!

Alright guys, time for another game. Let's play guess which piece I kept. I liked this StitchFix drastically more than my first one. I guess it's true that the more you order and the more feedback you give on each Fix, the better they get to know your style.

I received this lovely four clover, light blue gem necklace this time around. Pros: I thought it was gorgeous, a different color than I have, and the price was good $28. Cons: I typically like my necklaces to be a little bit more of a "statement" and this didn't quite fit that typical bill.

Pretty sure I saw this top in the box and about poo-d my pants. For real. Pros: HELLO, look at it. It accentuates everything that needs to be accentuated. The colors and pattern is great and you can wear it to work with a pencil skirt or wear it out with the girls. Cons: The price. $68. Granted, I have $20 that goes towards any purchase I make, but still. $48 for a top???!!!

First off, this dress is not jersey material, which makes me extremely happy, but the fabric is still somewhat weird. Pros: the dark blue is a great color to go under a jean jacket for summer and the style of the dress covered any unwanted attention to problem areas. Cons: I might just be a cheap person, but again, the price $78 killed me. It would only be $58 after my credit though so that's doable.

I will just go right into the pros and cons of this one. Pros: the colors a great. Cons: this is a sweater dress...and it's summer. Can you say pit stains?! Plus it showed my little tummy tum tum, and at $58, I don't know.

Last one was the cardigan, which I was shocked that they would put a sweater dress and a cardigan (heavy material at that), in my box for June. It's a little more hot in the South than Cali...just saying. Pros: the color, seriously kill me. I LOVE the color. They had it paired with a striped navy tank and skinnies. So cute in the picture. Cons: for a cardigan, it was $48. I typically buy from Target so that price shocked me. Also, the heat would prevent it from being worn for a while if purchased.

Alright guys, what do you think?! Which would you have kept and which do you think I kept???

Have you tried StitchFix yet? Thoughts? If you're unclear as to what it is, check it out here.
