Have you heard of TheShelf.com yet?! If not, you're missing out!
Basically, it's a mix of Pinterest, Priceline, and RetailMeNot. Once you create an account, you install a button to the top of your tool bar, and you go online shopping!
When you find items that you'd like to eventually purchase or just like, you press your "shelf it" button, choose what category to place it in, and save it.
What is so special about this site that you can't get from Pinterest? I'm glad you asked. When you are "shelving" items, you can set price alerts, meaning once that item hits the price you want--via a sale--it will send you an alert. When you're on your profile, you can hover over items on your shelf and compare their price with the price of similar items throughout the internet to get the best deal. I know, right! Kill me. Oh yeah, and they have an entire page dedicated to what deals/coupons are going on right now.
In addition, if you're a blogger, you can use this site like "Reward Style". When you post outfit pictures, you can set up a display with affiliate links to allow readers to actually shop your outfit pieces. Awesome.
I'm not receiving any compensation for this post and this is not a sponsored post. I am simply and thoroughly obsessed with this new site.
Please let me know if you already have a profile and how you like it thus far! What do you think, are you going to go set up a profile?! Let me know and I will be sure to follow you!

oh my gosh-- I have been looking for a site like this FOREVER! specifically the sale alert thing. I knew it had to be out there but I hadn't found it yet. So awesome! (and simultaneously dangerous)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds awesome! I especially like the part where it tells you when things go on sale!
